Pamela Anderson: “Dancing With the Stars: All Stars” First Elimination (PICS)

Her showing on Monday night’s premiere was less than stellar, so it’s not a huge surprise that Pamela Anderson was kicked to the curb during last night’s (September 25) “Dancing with the Stars: All Stars.”

The “Baywatch” babe was upset to have been eliminated, but definitely seemed to see a silver lining in being sent home.

Pammie told her dance partner Tony Dolovani, “Tony, I know you understand, I’m going back to my kids, so it’s not that bad.”

Following Anderson’s performance the previous evening, judge Bruno Tonioli lamented, “It pains me to say it … but there wasn’t enough work there for me to really praise you.” Len Goodman added, “It was a bit like a kid on a bike, when you take the training wheels off. It was shaky — but you didn’t fall off.”

I honestly wasn’t surprised that Pamela was the first contestant to go home. Even without the judges’ comments it wasn’t hard to see that she didn’t give it 100%. It looked that way to me anyway. Perhaps DWTS should have given the contestants a chance to dance the first week and then start eliminations in week two. I’ve got my Hopper set to record the entire season and with 2,000 hours of recording time I don’t have to rush through watching the show. There are definitely some other promising contestants on the show but I have to tell you that none of my DISH co-workers were routing for Pam. The team favorite here is Emmitt Smith. At least Pamela is going back home to her kids like she said and that’s definitely not a bad thing.
